One go-to strategy for student clubs that hope to attract new members is what The Chronicle has called “the classic college snack trap”: Offer free chips, soda, and, especially, pizza.
It turns out that’s also a go-to strategy for universities hoping to get a strong look from high-school guidance counselors and enrollment counselors. Thanks to Fordham University for submitting the photo below of its mascot, Ramses, who schlepped pies at Mikey’s Late Night Slice in Columbus, Ohio, during the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s conference earlier this month.
