Fordham University has appointed Dr. KerryAnn O’Meara as its next provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, effective July 1. O’Meara, currently vice president for academic affairs, provost, and dean at Teachers College, Columbia University, will succeed Dr. Dennis C. Jacobs, who is retiring at the end of the academic year.

Magda Teter, a leading scholar of antisemitism and professor of history at Fordham University, was recently named the inaugural Scholar-in-Residence of the Yale Program for the Study of Antisemitism (YPSA). During the spring semester, Teter will host five events, sponsored by YPSA, that aim to engage both members of the Yale community and the general public in dialogue on the history of antisemitism, its spread today, and challenges facing the field of antisemitism studies.

He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2021 and also spent time with the Bears, Patriots, and Chargers. Fordham is a Division I-FCS program, a step up from Division III Ithaca.
