Fordham’s full-time MBA program at the Gabelli School of Business has been ranked No. 76 in the world by the Financial Times. The publication’s 2026 MBA ranking placed the Gabelli School’s program second among New York City-based full-time MBAs, and No. 34 among U.S.-based schools included on the list.
The Financial Times began publishing its full-time MBA rankings in 1999. This is the highest position the Gabelli School’s program has achieved since the list’s inception, rising from the No. 100 spot in 2024 to No. 76 this year. The program was ranked No. 78 on last year’s list.
“I believe this rise in ranking is the result of the intentional, collaborative efforts of our dedicated colleagues, along with the contributions of our outstanding students and alumni,” said Sertan Kabadayi, the program’s director and the Joseph Keating SJ Distinguished Professor in Business. “Our students deserve the very best education available anywhere in the world, and I’m personally committed to ensuring they receive an exceptional learning experience here at Gabelli.”
Methodology Highlights Graduate Outcomes and Salaries
The Financial Times evaluates the world’s top full-time MBA programs using 21 criteria. The methodology places significant weight on alumni-reported data, including salary levels and increases, career progression, and overall satisfaction. Schools also provide institutional data, and faculty research output is factored into the score.
The Gabelli School’s program posted notable results in graduate outcomes: Alumni reported a 113% salary increase three years after graduation, with both weighted salary and current salary averaging around $160,227. Eighty-five percent of graduates were employed within three months of completion, and the program earned an overall satisfaction score—measuring alumni’s satisfaction with courses—of 9.136 out of 10.
The program showed marked year-over-year improvements in several key rankings, including in alumni network (60th), career progress (73rd), and career services (66th).
