Fordham alumni Carolyn and Maurice Cunniffe are featured in The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s annual Philanthropy 50, which highlights the nation’s largest charitable donors. Carolyn earned both a master’s degree and Ph.D. in French literature from Fordham in 1971, while Maurice’s connection to the University dates back to Fordham Prep, where he graduated in 1950, before earning a bachelor’s degree in physics from Fordham in 1954. Their philanthropy will help support an integrated science facility and expand STEM degree programs, strengthening Fordham’s investment in science education and research.
