About the event:
Food insecurity and housing instability are not separate crises. Join us as we gather to discuss two expressions of the same system—one that leaves too many New Yorkers without stable access to housing and food. The collaborative One System conference brings together tenant organizers, urban growers, researchers, filmmakers, policy practitioners, and people with lived experiences to connect the dots of inequality. We will share community-led innovations and solutions to address these issues, and begin to co-design strategies for a more equitable New York City.
