A Conversation Hour with Olivia J. Hooker, Ph.D.

What are barriers to a STEM career for women and minority students, and how can these be overcome? Olivia J. Hooker, Ph.D., is a pioneer in psychological science and Professor Emerita of Psychology at Fordham University (1963-1985). In this conversation hour, Professor Hooker speaks by Skype with current students and faculty about her legendary career in psychological science and practice, and the value of student research. This hour also includes a joyous celebration of Dr. Hooker’s 102nd birthday.
