Annie George-Puskar, Ph.D., GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION, assistant professor of curriculum and teaching, was awarded the Spencer Foundation Vision Grant, a research planning grant that supports innovative interdisciplinary research on education.
Michael Peppard, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of theology, was interviewed on the Commonweal podcast in the episode “When the Good Book Isn’t a Book,” released on March 27.
Daniel Willner, ARTS AND SCIENCES, adjunct professor of visual arts, was selected as the 2025 Larry Lederman Photography Fellow at the New York Botanical Garden. The grant is awarded annually to an established or emerging photographer whose work demonstrates excellence and a creative approach to the art of landscape photography. Over the next nine months, he will complete a photographic study of the garden and the Bronx River. The resulting project will be presented to the Mertz Library at the end of the term.
