Anthony D’Agostino, ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of English, won the Outstanding Teacher in Upper-Division Courses award at Fordham’s Alpha Chi Omicron Teaching Awards for 2024-2025.

Hill Krishnan, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, adjunct assistant professor of political science, won a Toastmasters’s district championship for an international speech contest on May 10. 

Alexander Mindt, ARTS AND SCIENCES, senior lecturer of English, won the Outstanding Teacher in Text and Context award at the Alpha Chi Omicron Teaching Awards for 2024-2025.

Shubhangi Mehrotra, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, lecturer of English, won the Outstanding Teacher in Composition award at the Alpha Chi Omicron Teaching Awards for 2024-2025.

Joshua Schrier, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, Kim B. & Stephen E. Bepler Chair Professor of Chemistry, appeared on the podcast “Profiles in American Funded Research” to discuss research work supported by the National Science Foundation’s “Molecular Foundations for Biotechnology” program on April 30.  

Dinesh Sharma, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, adjunct professor, psychology department and Graduate School of Education, won the Excellence In Education Award at the Education 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas in March. 


Lance Strate, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of communication and media studies, received a Leadership in Listening Award from the Global Listening Centre in March.
