The grandstand at Jack Coffey Field was sporting the latest in gridiron chic when the Rams opened their Patriot League schedule on Sept. 27 against Colgate.
The University’s new graphic identity for athletics was displayed on mesh fabric sheets measuring roughly 16.8 to 24 feet tall and 16.5 feet across. The logos were mixed with action shots of Fordham athletes from several sports. The decorative wrapping is the most noticeable change to Coffey Field since the graphics were officially announced early last month.
Rounding out Fordham’s new athletic identity, a new mascot will take his first bows at Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 25.
