NEW YORK—Don’t miss NBC’s and CBS’ morning shows on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6 to 10 a.m., and your chance to see the Fordham University cheerleaders on national television. Your favorite Rams will be performing cheers during the Today Show’s 12th annual toy drive, appearing on CBS’ Early Show and NBC’s Today Show.
The cheerleaders also appear in the December 2005 issue of American Cheerleader magazine, cheerleading’s most widely circulated magazine. The Rams “helped [the magazine]show off school and all-star uniforms,” editorial director Sheila Noone (FCRH ’91), told readers.
Also, for the first time in Fordham’s history the cheerleaders will be attending the College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship, which will be hosted by the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) in Orlando, Fla. on Jan. 12 to 16. UCA staff members encouraged the team to attend the national event after their exceptional summer cheer camp performance. The standings from the national event will be posted throughout the weekend online at www.varsity.com.
