CLEARWATER, Fla. — The Fordham softball team started the Michele Smith Pediatric Cancer Foundation Invitational Friday with a split. The Rams rallied in their opener to defeat DePaul, 6-5, before being run-ruled in five innings by South Florida, 11-2. With the split, Fordham moves to 2-5 on the season, while the Blue Demons fall to 2-4 and the Bulls improve to 2-4.
