St. Louis, Mo. – The Fordham women’s basketball team saw a double-digit lead at halftime evaporate during a lengthy Saint Louis run but the two schools exchanged blows all the way until the final whistle at the end of double overtime, 91-85, despite redshirt freshman Bre Cavanaugh’s 37 points, a new single-game school record by a Ram rookie. With the loss, Fordham’s first on the road this conference season, the Rams fall to 17-6 overall and 8-2 in Atlantic 10 action, while the Billikens improve to 12-10 and 6-3, respectively.
