NEW YORK The Financial Times has ranked the Fordham Business full-time graduate program among the top 100 MBA programs in the world. Fordham Business debuted on the Financial Times survey with a ranking of 96. More than half of the ranked institutions are U.S. schools; others are based in Europe, Canada and Latin America. Fordham is one of only three New York City business schools to make the list. Fordham Business strives to prepare its students for the global marketplace, said Sharon P. Smith, Ph.D., dean of Fordham Business Schools. This preparation is central to our mission so we are pleased to be recognized in the international business arena. The rankings are based upon independent research conducted by the Financial Times, questionnaires completed by business schools and MBA graduates, as well as the number of research articles published by faculty in top international trade journals. This is the fifth year that the Financial Times has produced these rankings. Fordhams College of Business Administration, founded in 1920, is rated a best buy in undergraduate education by U.S. News & World Report. The Graduate School of Business Administration, established in 1969, has been recognized nationally for the quality and innovation of its programs, which prepare graduates for global competition.
