Alumni Chapter of Orange County: 2023 Pacific Symphony Volunteer Opportunity
Monday, May 15, 2023, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Youth concerts are 45-minute live performances performed by Pacific Symphony for students at schools in Orange County who participate in the Class Act program. Two concerts are performed each day.
This year’s concerts will feature music by the Composer of the Year, Johann Sebastian Bach, and will focus on the “Musical Conversations” theme.
Volunteers will help guide the students efficiently and safely through the lobbies, halls, and stairways of the concert hall to their seats. Following each concert, volunteers will ensure the safe and efficient exit of students as they return to their buses. Duties range from greeting buses to guiding students through the lobbies and seating students inside the concert hall. Volunteers may be assigned to roles indoors or outdoors. Performances take place rain or shine.
All volunteers will have the opportunity to watch at least one of the concerts each day. Volunteers ages 18 and older are invited to participate. All volunteer positions require standing, walking, or moving almost the entire time. Complimentary parking is provided.
