Arbor Day Tree Planting and Conservation Lessons
Friday, April 25, 10 – 11:15 a.m.
Join Fordham staff and students for tree plantings and lessons in tree care with local horticulturalists. Public School 85 students will also be participating in this Arbor Day celebration.

10 a.m. Welcome remarks by Deborah Russelli, assistant vice president for administration
10:15 a.m. Tree conservation lesson and planting of crepe myrtle trees with Steve Farrelly of Emerald Tree Care and Will Schneider, assistant director of grounds and transportation, along with participation from Fordham students and local Public School 85 students
Spellman/Tierney Hall Lawn
11 a.m. Tree planting of royal raindrop crabapple tree with Anthony Bulfamante of Bulfamante Landscaping and Gerardo Galiano, director of facilities budgets, along with participation from Fordham students and local Public School 85 students
11:15 a.m. Tree blessing by Philip Judge, S.J. and rededication of memorial tree in honor of Kathy Alarcon ‘07
