Black History Month: ‘Soaring to Glory’ Community Reading and Conversation
Thursday, February 27, 12 – 1:30 p.m.

Join us for a powerful community reading and discussion in honor of Black History Month! We will explore selections from Soaring to Glory: A Tuskegee Airman’s Firsthand Account of World War II, by Lt. Col. Harry T. Stewart Jr., a decorated Tuskegee Airman, and engage in a meaningful conversation about the legacy of Black service members, resilience, and history.
CCEL is committed to fostering a dialogue that bridges communities, history, and lived experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in an important conversation that honors the past and informs the present.
Light refreshments will be provided.
