Coronavirus Crisis: How to Be a Person of Faith in the Legal Profession Today?

Tuesday, April 28, 2020, 12:301:30 p.m.

Please join the Institute on Religion, Law, and Lawyer’s Work in discussing how faith can help to ease the disproportionate ways that COVID-19 is affecting marginalized communities. Yazmine Nichols, a minister and law student, LAW ’20, will be leading the talk. She will be addressing her concerns with legal professionals adhering to a “bleached out” identity that disallows them to be who they are. Nichols will argue instead for the need for lawyers to bring their faith into their practice during these difficult times. After the talk, there will be a Q&A breakout discussion for participants. The event will be take place virtually through Zoom. We hope you can join us.
