Diwali: Festival of lights

Diwali is a Hindu holiday that celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It is celebrated in many South Asian countries, such as India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, by lighting small candles, or diyas, to symbolize the triumph of light over darkness. Diwali presents an opportunity for personal reflection and spiritual growth. Our event aims to create a welcoming space for attendants to light their diyas, and in doing so, work to grow spiritually and ignite the spark that resides in us all, as per Ignatian spirituality. We will have Indian food and music, and we invite you to join us!
