Horizons of Hope Film Series: Nosferatu
Monday, March 9, 7 – 9 p.m.
Through conversations and screenings of three films from Pope John Paul II’s “Vatican Film List,” the Horizons of Hope film series invites audiences to participate in a rich dialogue about faith, film, and the cultivation of the interior life.
The series is presented by New York’s Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in partnership with Boston College’s Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics and Fordham University’s Center for Ethics Education. Fordham faculty and staff will discuss two of the screenings, Nosferatu on March 9 and Metropolis on April 13.
At Nosferatu, a silent horror classic loosely based on Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula, Thomas Massaro, SJ, McGinley Chair of Religion and Society, is the featured panelist with moderator Matthew Clemente, PhD, director of research and curriculum at Boston College’s Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics.
