John Behr, dean of St. Vladimir’s Seminary and distinguished lecturer in patristics at Fordham, will discuss the relationship between the Orthodox Church and academia, including the vocation of the lay theologian, the role of theological research in contemporary ecclesiastical discourse, and ways for academic theologians to converse with the Church.
