What role do mayors of major cities play in international relations? Join Fordham London for a conversation about how the Nov. 4 New York City mayoral election might effect life in London and Europe.

Our discussion will address New York-London urban connections amidst the broader US-UK relationship, Londoners’ views on the election and various candidates, and consideration of how different possible outcomes might change America’s role on the global stage.

Guest speakers include urban studies scholars; representatives of Vote from Abroad (a non-partisan initiative supporting absentee voting for Americans around the world); and Darren Hughes, chief executive of the UK Electoral Reform Society and former New Zealand member of Parliament.
