Join lead curator Vincent Stracuadanio and Skidmore College professor Diana Barnes, PhD, who initiated the “Paint the Border: A Child’s Voice” exhibit, for an opening reception at the Refuge Gallery. Guests will leave having viewed and engaged with the children’s paintings and narratives, and with added context from Barnes on how the exhibit came together, gain a clearer understanding of how border policies have shaped the lived experiences of children (artists) stranded in Ciudad Juárez.

Location: Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs, Canisius Hall, FCRH (2546 Belmont Ave, Bronx, NY, 10458)
