SUMMARY:Exclusive After-Hours at the Morgan Library & Museum: Renoir Drawings
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exclusive after-hours experience at the Morgan Library and Museum! \nFordham alumni and friends are invited to enjoy private access to the museum after it closes to the public\, to experience a guided tour of the Renoir Drawings exhibition\, led by Dr. Colin B. Bailey\, Katharine J. Rayner Director. \nWhile the paintings of Auguste Renoir (1841–1919) have become icons of Impressionism\, his drawings\, watercolors\, and pastels are far less widely known. In fact\, drawing remained central to his artistic practice even as his interests and ambitions changed over the course of a long career. This exhibition explores the ways in which Renoir used paper to test ideas\, plan compositions\, and interpret both landscape and the human figure. \nThe event costs $25 per person. \nWednesday\, November 19\n5:30 – 6:30 p.m.\nThe Morgan Library & Museum | 225 Madison Ave\, New York\, NY 10016

SUMMARY:Young Alumni Supper Club
DESCRIPTION:Pull up a chair and meet your fellow Rams in a whole new way! The Young Alumni Supper Club is serving up a week of great food\, great company\, and a few surprises along the way. \nFrom October 27–31\, each evening will feature a different dinner hosted by a young alumni committee member at a local restaurant. Here’s the twist—you won’t know exactly who you’ll be dining with until you arrive. Think of it as a chance to enjoy a great meal and make new connections with fellow Fordham grads. \nHow it works: Pick the night(s) you’d like to join\, show up hungry and ready to mingle\, and each restaurant will take separate checks\, so you only pay for what you order. \nSeats are limited to 10 each night—reserve yours now and let the conversation (and the food) flow! \nDining Options: \n10/27 (7pm) Patrizia’s (Maspeth\, Queens) \n10/27 (7pm) Avra (Upper East Side) \n10/28 (6:30pm) The Malt House (Greenwich Village) \n10/29 (6:30pm) La Lanterna di Vittorio (Greenwich Village) \n10/30 (7pm) Souvlaki GR (Lower East Side)
