SUMMARY:NYC Digital Humanities Week Kickoff Day
DESCRIPTION:DHWeek is a celebration of the digital humanities (DH) in New York City and features networking sessions\, a DH community meeting\, open workshops offered across the city\, and social events. This year\, DHWeek will be held from February 4–8\, and we are excited to offer another amazing year of workshops and talks for all skill levels. Anyone interested in the digital humanities and digital scholarship may attend these free events. \nThe kick-off day\, hosted by the Fordham Digital Scholarship Consortium\, will be held at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus in the Lowenstein 12th-floor lounge. Lunch will be served.

SUMMARY:34th Annual Symposium for Field Educators
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed to help field instructors prepare interns to work with immigrants from diverse\nbackgrounds. Participants will learn how to help students use a social work lens to understand the micro-\, mezzo-\, and macro-level factors impacting various immigrant groups.
