SUMMARY:Food X Housing NYC Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:One System: Scaling Food Sovereignty + Housing Justice will feature two summits connecting food and urban agriculture to housing insecurity\, as well as a film screening of Emergent City\, networking opportunities\, and more. \nAbout the event:\nFood insecurity and housing instability are not separate crises. Join us as we gather to discuss two expressions of the same system—one that leaves too many New Yorkers without stable access to housing and food. The collaborative One System conference brings together tenant organizers\, urban growers\, researchers\, filmmakers\, policy practitioners\, and people with lived experiences to connect the dots of inequality. We will share community-led innovations and solutions to address these issues\, and begin to co-design strategies for a more equitable New York City. \n  \n  \n
