The successes and failures of their adulthoods unwind as the cynicism of age erases back to the glowing optimism of youth. The Alumni Chapter of Houston invites you for a discussion led by Fordham Alum Lauren Opper (FCLC 2010) about her debut mystery novel\, Let Nothing Astonish You. Ms. Opper will discuss the inspiration behind the novel’s plot and share how her education at Fordham influenced her writing. All attendees will receive a copy of the novel\, and Ms. Opper will sign and personalize copies of the book following her discussion and Q&A. \nDiscussion will begin at 6:45 pm. Light bites will be available to all guests and drinks will be available for purchase from the restaurant. Tickets are $40 each and include valet parking for The Lancaster. \nSpace is limited and registrations will be honored on a first-come\, first-serve basis. RSVP by October 22.
