SUMMARY:Young Alumni Committee Mission in Action Sandwich-Making
DESCRIPTION:Join the Young Alumni Committee and the Center for Community Engaged Learning for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich-making team-building program. We’ll make 200 meal packs for a neighborhood community fridge in Hell’s Kitchen. We’ll conclude our time together with a brief Ignatian reflection led by Vanessa Rotondo\, FCRH ’17\, GSE ’19\, associate director of campus engagement and senior advisor for Ignatian leadership\, and Rob Parmach\, GSAS ’02\, GRE ’07\, director of Ignatian mission initiatives. \nPlease note: Fordham has a COVID-19 vaccine requirement for visitors to campus\, but honors medical and personal religious exemptions.

DESCRIPTION:Join M.O.S.A.I.C. in volunteering with God’s Love We Deliver\, a nonprofit that provides high-quality meals to people who are sick or have food insecurity. Volunteers will perform kitchen prep under the guidance of their staff chefs. Tasks may include packaging meals\, chopping onions\, forming meatballs\, ladling soup\, peeling potatoes\, scooping baked goods\, or preparing fresh herbs. \nAdditional details will be sent out closer to the date.
