Fordham’s annual campus blood drive, held from Oct. 25 through Nov. 1, surpassed its donor goals, collecting nearly 300 pints of blood from its three campuses. The event was organized by Fordham’s Blood Drive Committee, consisting of representatives from the Rose Hill, Lincoln Center and Marymount campuses, in liaison with the New York Blood Center. The next campus drive will be held in April 2007.

“We were extremely pleased with the turnout; there was a large increase especially among faculty,” said Caitlin Murphy, FCRH ’03, interim coordinator of the the Blood Drive Committee. “We’re hopeful we can increase the numbers again in the spring.”

Total collections for each campus were: Rose Hill, 207 pints; Lincoln Center, 76 pints; and Marymount, 13 pints. In all, 346 people turned out to donate blood.
