A pie-eating contest, dancing, and the South African national anthem under a giant tent on Edwards Parade: Must be Dagger John Day!
On June 4, Fordham’s annual barbecue brought together faculty and staff from across the University. This year, Matthew Burns, assistant director of alumni relations, young alumni, and student engagement, managed to scarf down his pie the fastest, ending the two-year winning reign of Fordham’s South African exchange students. Attendees enjoyed pulled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, and ice cream before heading to the dance floor, where the exchange students showed everyone how it’s done.
