The University will honor Archbishop of Miami Thomas G. Wenski (GSAS ’93) on Sunday, April 10, when it dedicates a new glass panel to him in the Queen’s Court Bishop’s Lounge.

The day will commence with Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham, who will celebrate Mass at 11 a.m. in the University Church on the Rose Hill campus. The concelebrants will be Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, vice president for University mission and ministry; and Philip Florio, S.J., director of campus ministry.

A procession will then proceed to the Bishop’s Lounge, where the coat-of-arms of Archbishop Wenski, who received a master’s in sociology from Fordham, will join those of 19 other Catholic bishops with connections to the University.

The event will conclude Ignatian Heritage Week, an annual celebration of the history and culture of the Society of Jesus.
