assistant professor of Spanish, presented a paper, “Jungian Archetypes and ‘Merchant Stigma’ in Colonial Spanish American Literature,” on Feb. 28 at the conference of the Northeast Modern Language Association in Boston, where she also chaired the panel “Commerce in Colonial Literatures: Avarice or Opportunity?”
