assistant professor of theology, received a faculty research grant for his project, The Christian Son of God in the Roman World, under contract with Oxford University Press. He also gave a lecture at the Columbia University Faculty Seminar titled “New Testament Imagery in the Earliest Christian Baptistery” on Feb. 11.

Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society, delivered the annual Spring McGinley Lecture, “Faith and Culture: Jewish, Christian and Muslim Perspectives,” on April 7 at Rose Hill and repeated it on April 8 at Lincoln Center. He presented “The Stained Glass Windows of the Fordham University Church” at the 2010 Spring Concert on April 11 at the University Church and “Trust: Inter-Faith and Cross Cultural Perspectives” for Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School’s Fordham Gateway Program on April 15. Fr. Ryan has been appointed a consultant for the New York Public Library’s future exhibit on Jewish, Christian and Muslim Library holdings, and serves on the advisory board for the documentary film “Sacred: The Children of Abraham.”
