NEW YORK— New York Times Op-Ed columnist and award-winning economist Paul Krugman will inaugurate the Fordham Business Lecture Series with an address titled “The Role of Economics in the Political Arena.” The event will take place on Friday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. in the McNally Amphitheatre, Fordham Law School, 140 W. 62nd St. This event is open only to the Fordham University community. Krugman is the author or editor of 20 books, including The Great Unraveling: Losing Our Way in the New Century (Norton, 2003). In 1991 the American Economic Association awarded him its John Bates Clark medal, given every two years to the economist under 40 who has made a significant contribution to economic knowledge.
