NEW YORK— Albert J. Raboteau, Ph.D., Henry W. Putnam Professor of Religion at Princeton University, will present a lecture titled “In the World, Not of the World, for the Sake of the World: Orthodoxy and American Culture” on Tuesday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the McNally Amphitheatre, Fordham Law School, Lincoln Center campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Raboteau, a specialist in American religious history, especially American Catholic religious movements, will present the third installment of Fordham’s Orthodoxy in America Lecture Series. The series, which is designed to strengthen the ties that bind the Fordham and Orthodox communities, addresses the history, theology, spirituality and worship of the Orthodox tradition as it relates to contemporary American culture.
