The University is testing all of its emergency notification systems at all Fordham campuses.
The tests will be conducted between 11 a.m. and noon today, Tuesday, Jan. 7, and will include visual and auditory notifications. Members of the Fordham community should not be alarmed, but should take notice of how such messages are delivered so that they can recognize an alert in the case of a real emergency.

The University performs these tests at least twice every school year to ensure that essential safety systems are working properly and that both the staff responsible for sending emergency messages and the members of the campus community are acquainted with their operation. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Department of Public Safety at 718-817-2222.
