NEW YORK—Fordham University will award Dino De Poli, Esq., president of the Cassamarca Foundation, an honorary doctorate of humane letters on Monday, April 24, at 1 p.m. in the Great Hall of Duane Library on the Rose Hill campus. The event is free and open to the public.
De Poli, a prominent lawyer, bank president and politician, has worked tirelessly through the Italian-based Cassamarca Foundation to promote cross- cultural awareness throughout the world. The foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the Italian savings bank industry, established the Cassamarca Chair in Migration and Globalization at Fordham University in 2005.
The Most Reverend Celestino Migliore, the titular archbishop of Canosa and a member of the Holy See’s diplomatic service, will deliver the keynote address.
