Fordham University unveiled a redesigned website on Sept. 1., the focus of which was to make the site aesthetically pleasing yet visually bold and easier to navigate.
Among some of the changes on the Fordham homepage include a “Featured Events” section and drop-down menus for easy linking to various sites within the University site. Not everything has changed, however. The homepage remains a site for the latest news about the University, but is enhanced by links to Fordham faculty “in the news.”
New Features
• Faculty & staff and student e-mail log-in pages can now be reached from the Quicklinks drop-down menu on the upper-right-hand corner of the home page.
• The University news contacts and media information page, “Fordham News,” can be reached from the RESOURCES drop-down menu on the navigation bar atop the home page.
• The University Arts & events Calendar can now be reached from the Quicklinks drop-down menu on the upper-right-hand corner of the home page.
In addition to the Fordham homepage, the sites for admissions, athletics, alumni, academics and student affairs also have been redesigned. However, the redesign remains a work in progress and other changes, including a new look to the homepages of Fordham’s various schools and departments, will be rolled out in the months ahead.
