This historic winter storm continues to bring accumulating snow and high winds to the New York City area and the National Weather Service blizzard warning remains in effect until approximately 6 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 23.

Some areas have reported up to two feet of snow and wind gusts in excess of 40 MPH will continue to blow snow, causing whiteout conditions. The New York City Department of Sanitation is actively plowing and treating roads, and Fordham’s facilities staff has been hard at work clearing snow from campus walkways and roads. Clean-up will continue throughout the day but we expect it will take additional time to properly ensure the safety of our community.

We will be making the following modifications to our normal operations on Tuesday, Feb. 24:

Classes and Campuses
No in-person classes will be held at Rose Hill or Lincoln Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Deans and instructors will contact their students with further information about alternative arrangements for classes affected by this announcement. Online classes will proceed as planned.
