DESCRIPTION:In his book\, Damned Whiteness: How White Christian Allies Failed the Black Freedom Movement\, David Evans claims that the Black freedom movement is the best framework to understand the impact of white allies. Black freedom fighters inherited a tradition that combined varied economic opportunities\, political philosophies\, and religious beliefs to achieve Black freedom.
