New York City will shine bright for Fordham tonight to celebrate the unveiling of the University’s brand evolution

Spires atop some of the Big Apple’s tallest skyscrapers will glow Fordham maroon, honoring the University’s next chapter as well as its deep roots in the city it calls home.

The spires will be lit at sunset—8:12 p.m., to be exact—and continue shining until the early morning hours. You can catch the lights at these NYC landmarks: One World Trade Center in the Financial District (including the WTC platform), One Bryant Park in Midtown, One Five One W. 42nd St. in Times Square, and the Sven Tower in Long Island City.

Whether you’re a student, graduate, or friend of Fordham, tonight is a moment to look up, take pride, and remember what it means to stand For What Matters.

Skyscrapers in NYC with their spires lit up in maroon

Update: The photo above captures the spires lit in maroon for Fordham on the evening of July 31.

The NYC Shines for Fordham event was made possible thanks to Spireworks, a lighting platform owned by the Durst Organization that illuminates iconic NYC buildings. Thanks to Spireworks’ generosity and partnership, there was no cost to Fordham.
