Thomas Massaro, SJ, ARTS AND SCIENCES, Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society, delivered the lecture “Contemporary Challenges to the Rule of Law: What Are We to Do Now?” at the conference “The Rule of Law and the Common Good: An Emerging Synergy Between Legal Theory and Catholic Social Thought” on March 13 at Boston College.

Toni Marie Perilli, CAREER SERVICES, communications and marketing specialist, was featured in the American Theatre Wing’s Master Class series, which gives young professionals exclusive access to advice, insight, and training from industry professionals. Perilli appeared in “The Art of the Show,” where she was asked to write an effective marketing campaign for a Broadway show.

Joshua Schrier, PhD, ARTS AND SCIENCES, Kim B. and Stephen E. Bepler Professor of Chemistry, published a paper with postdoctoral researcher Hao Liu, PhD, and collaborators from Central Connecticut State University in Langmuir on March 3. In the paper, titled “Molecular Foundation Models for Predicting Self-Assembly in Aqueous Mixtures,” they demonstrated the ability of machine learning models to predict properties of formulations relevant to pharmaceuticals and origins-of-life research, using automated experiments to validate their results.
