Fordham University mourns the loss of Anastassios Intezyiannis, a worker at the construction site for Fordham’s new law school and residence hall at the Lincoln Center campus, who died in the hospital on Thursday, July 26. Intezyiannis was injured in a fall on Monday, July 16.

“I cannot imagine the grief that Mr. Intezyiannis’ family and loved ones must be feeling,” said Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham. “The University community has Mr. Intezyiannis and his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers today.”

Fordham will hold a memorial service for Intezyiannis in the near future, details of which will be published on the University home page, as will any available information about condolences and funeral services.
