Officials from Fordham and Santander Universities signed a collaborative agreement on Oct. 13 on the Rose Hill campus.
The agreement between Fordham and Sovereign Bank—a part of Banco Santander—solidifies a gift over three years. The funding will support the development of international internship initiatives in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and a master of arts in ethics and society administered by the Center for Ethics Education.
Sovereign Bank will support the initiatives through Santander Universities’ global division, a major social-responsibility initiative created by Banco Santander to advance the bank’s goal of expanding global education.
