Julia Cherashore, GABELLI SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, adjunct professor, spoke at the 20th annual Chief Data Officer and Information Quality (CDOIQ) Symposium, held from July 21 to 23 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The presentation, “The Governance Imperative,” featured multiple C-level panelists offering practical insights on AI and data governance.
Sneha Khaund, PhD, ARTS AND SCIENCES, assistant professor of English, was offered full tuition to participate in the British Centre for Literary Translation’s Multilingual Prose workshop in Norwich, England, July 20 to 24, led by acclaimed translator Srinath Perur. The University of Chicago’s South Asian Literature in Translation (SALT) program supported the scholarship.
George Smith, PUBLIC SAFETY, director of Public Safety, was honored at the 48th Precinct Community Council’s National Night Out on Aug. 4 in recognition of Fordham Public Safety’s outstanding partnership with the Bronx precinct.
