Nine former Rams joined the likes of Frankie Frisch, Vince Lombardi, and Anne Gregory as they were formally inducted into the Fordham Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday night before a packed room in the McShane Center.
Former head football coach Larry Glueck, Sanford Jenkins ’92 (men’s basketball), Daniel Mastrangelo ’88 (men’s tennis), Brian McClure ’06 (golf), Fiona Murtagh ’16 (women’s rowing), Katie Sanchez ’09 (women’s soccer), Mike Snell ’03 (Rowing), Allison (Storc) Johnson ’08 (softball), and Teri Vaccarino ’85 (women’s basketball) returned to campus for the ceremony and to be officially recognized as a Hall of Famer.
Before the 2026 class was introduced, John Mulcahy, 1894, founder of the Fordham men’s rowing program and 1904 Olympic gold medalist, received his recognition. Mulcahy was inducted into the Fordham Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 but had passed away in 1942. His grandson, actor Jack Mulcahy, accepted an award in his honor at this year’s ceremony.
