Fordham University Athletics is offering two-for-one tickets for all faculty and staff with a valid ID to the men’s basketball team’s first nationally televised home game of the season on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m., as the Rams seek to avenge their 2006 loss to the Xavier University Musketeers. The Ram’s game against Duquesne University on Sunday, Jan. 14, will also be broadcast live in the metropolitan New York area on SportsNet NY.

The Thursday game against Xavier, which will run live on the College Sports Television Network (CSTV), is Fordham’s third Atlantic 10 Conference game of the season. The team is 1-1 in the A-10 and 8-6 overall for the season. Xavier, the defending conference champions, has an 11-4 season mark and 1-0 in conference play. Tickets are available for $10 and can be reserved through the ticket office at (718) 817-4300.

In addition to the SportsNet NY broadcast on Jan. 14, the game against Duquesne will also be shown on CSTV Regional. Three more CSTV Regional games will be home contests: Saturday, Jan. 20, against Saint Louis; Saturday, Feb. 3, against Rhode Island and Sunday, Feb. 18, against Duquesne again.
