Fordham’s Class of 2025 is off to a strong start. Within six months of graduation, 96% of the class had “landed” in full-time jobs, continued education, or other meaningful pursuits, according to new University data.
The Class of 2025’s 96% “landed rate” exceeds the most recent national average, which was around 88% for 2024 graduates. It’s also a 2-point improvement over the University’s landed rate for the class of 2024, which was 94%. Fordham’s promising figures come at a moment when the broader labor market is showing signs of strain. The U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs in February, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the unemployment rate rose to 4.4%.
The outcomes were strong across Fordham’s schools. Graduates of the Gabelli School of Business achieved a 98% landed rate, while graduates of Fordham’s liberal arts programs recorded a 94% landed rate.
