NEW YORK— Fordham Law School will examine the challenges of bringing a law-genre documentary to life during a one-day conference titled “Documentaries and the Law” onThursday, May 5, in the McNally Amphitheatre on the Lincoln Center campus.

The conference, featuring legal and film professionals and scholars, will also focus on the production and efficacy of nonfiction films by lawyers and their clients, and the basic knowledge of documentary film criticism and the fundamentals of nonfiction filmmaking. The conference is being co-sponsored by the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
